The Shoman-in temple is little north from the Shitenno-ji area. According to the temple's legend, this temple was founded as one of the four temples by by Shotoku Taishi in Shitennoji Temple.
This temple is dedicated to the God Aizen Myoou, tha is well worshiped as being the God of love.

Aizen Matsuri festival ; (Yukata Matsuri festival)

This festival takes places, from 30th June to 2nd July every year.
It is bustling with a lot of street stalls and various entertainment.
The Yukata ; a light cotton Kimono for summer, worn about this time of year, gives us an impression that summer is coming. Therefore, it is also called the "Yukata Matsuri festival".
